Yummy, Salon Du Chocolat

I didn't talk about the weekend I spent with my aunt here a couple of weeks ago.

Friday November, 2 we went to the Chocolate Fair.

It seemed Wonderland.

Or either Land of Toys.

It was missing only The Hatter and the donkeys' boys.

Why I went to see it?

What kind of question is that?

I'm a girl and I love chocolate: winning mix.

Scrivo con un po' di ritardo a proposito del weekend dei Santi che ho passato con mia zia.

Venerdì 2 novembre abbiamo visto il Salone del Cioccolato.

Pareva il paese delle meraviglie.

O quello dei balocchi.

Mancavano solo il cappellaio matto e i bambini trasformati in asini.

Perché l'ho visto?

Che razza di domanda è?

Sono femmina e amo il cioccolato: una combo vincente.

The fair took place from Wednesday 31tst October to Sunday 4th November at the Porte de Versailles. The entrance fee was of 13,00€.

There were many shows, demonstrations and stands. The most particular was for sure  Chocolate Fashion Show where visitors were invited to discover and to admire the gourmand creations every day at 5:00pm.

I have seen only one demonstration but it was worth it: Pallle Chocolate, Mousse Sabayon Grand Cru performed by Pier-Marie Le Moigno, Chef pâtisseier Park Hayatt Paris Vendôme. At the end we have tasted the new pastry trend of the year: delicious!

Il Salone è stato allestito dal 31 ottobre al 4 novembre alla Porte de Versailles. Il costo del biglietto era di 13,00€.

C'erano un sacco di performance nell'oval centrale, choco-dimostrazioni e tantissimi stand. L'evento più originale della fiera è stata sicuramente la sfilata "Chocolate Fashion Show" dove i visitatori erano invitati a scoprire ed ammirare le golose creazioni ogni giorno alle 17h.

Purtroppo, ho visto una sola dimostrazione pratica ma n'è proprio valsa la pena: Pallle Chocolate, Mousse Sabayon Grand Cru eseguita da Pier-Marie Le Moigno, Chef pasticcere al Park Hayatt Paris Vendôme. Alla fine abbiamo mangiato il "pasticcino dell'anno venturo": una squisitezza!
